Group Fitness Classes

Our CrossFit class builds General Physical Preparedness (GPP), and provides you with a broad, general, and inclusive program which develops all ten physical skills (Strength, Stamina, Endurance, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy). CrossFit improves work capacity across broad time and modal domains with constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity in a communal environment. Coach-to-athlete ratio is kept 1:15 or less, and workouts are adapted for novice, intermediate, and advanced.

Improve technique and power in the Snatch and Clean & Jerk under the direction of our experienced USA Weightlifting and CrossFit Weightlifting certified coaches.

Strongman classes build strength in ways that are practical in and out of the gym. Push, pull, lift, and carry odd objects like yokes, sleds, axles, logs, stones, sandbags, tires, and more. Strongman provides a great strength and power foundation which you can take with you into any aspect of training and life.

Competition Training $20 per classFrom $3 per visit with Unlimited Group Training Month-to-Month Membership passPurchase required to enroll

Competition is great for focusing training goals and measuring progress. Our Competition Training class is designed with competitive CrossFitters in mind. Classes will run 90 minutes and will include a variety of Weightlifting, Gymnastics, Strongman, Monostructural elements, and more in a format that prepares athletes to be at their best during CrossFit competitions.

Our CrossFit Teens Program is not sport specific training but rater builds General Physical Preparedness (GPP) with a foundation encompassing all ten general physical skills (strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, stamina, speed, agility, power, cardiovascular endurance, and accuracy). A broad, general, and inclusive physical foundation prepares Teens for excellence in sport, and more importantly, in life. Consistently good mechanics translates to physical literacy, enhanced sports performance, and fewer sports injuries. Not only that, a vast body of research indicates that exercise is beneficial to cognitive function, which means consistent adherence to the program can have a positive impact on academic achievement.

Open Gym $15 per classFrom $2 per visit with Open Gym Monthly Membership passPurchase required to enroll

Open Gym is available any time a Group Class is in session. If there is class scheduled but no one signs up, the Coach reserves the right to close the gym. If there isn't prior coordination via online registration, email, text, call, or verbal agreement the Coach reserves the right to close the gym. Open Gym participants are able to use any equipment and gym space that isn't needed for the Group Class. We reserve the right to refuse service based on safety, disrespect, or for any reason Intrepid Athletics PDX staff deems necessary.
